Construction the project required careful planning and a well-managed program to ensure that there were minimal disruptions to staff and students. this allowed the existing centre to continue to operate whilst construction works were undertaken. The brief included the demolition of an existing residential building and complete construction of a new childcare centre, including playground and carpark. Mandatory upgrades to an adjacent council road were also included within the brief provided a number of hurdles to the Skelcon team, which were effectively addressed with approvals from council attained.

With the centre boasting 5 playrooms, 3 outdoor playgrounds, welcoming entry & reception, admin office, large commercial kitchen, staff room⁠ kitchen, laundry & storeroom, a 21 space car park and a very exciting hobby farm, this construction was a challenging yet rewarding project for the Skelcon team.
